Yurra acknowledges the Ngarluma people as the Traditional Owners of the land and waters where Yurra is based and predominantly operates, and where most of our teams work and live, this includes the towns of Roebourne (Yirramagadu), Wickham, Karratha and Dampier. We pay our respects to all Ngarluma people and Elders, past and present. As an Yindjibarndi business, Yurra recognises the strong connection between the Yindjibarndi and Ngarluma people’s and their connection with the Pilbara and Kimberly more broadly. We also pay our respects to Traditional Owners throughout Australia and recognise the deep connection and obligations to country and culture held by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People’s and communities.
